Built from the timber of a thousand trees, the wooden legend stood
Regenerating through the years from all the souls it took
As clouds become more blurry, the cycle starts anew
For there are many more to come, all waiting in the queue
While they scream forever, will they remember what they said?
Proving their endeavor, but the ride has no end…

The Story Of Wooden

Wooden  is the story of a roller coaster built from the timber of a dead forest. After what seemed an eternity of relentless construction, the gargantuan structure was finally completed, it stood as the world's largest wooden roller coaster of its kind. As it was officialy opened to the public, thrill seekers from all over the world seeked to embarq on the ride, and it quickly gained popularity.
The ride was dubbed ''The Monster''.

The roller coaster was set to operate all day, everyday, until midnight, the closing time of the amusement park where it's located. Then, one night, during the very last run of the ride before closing, tragedy struck. As the train crested the top of the biggest hill, a track broke loose, causing the train to fly off the rails, killing the passengers on it that day . The wagon was never found, nor any trace of the passengers.

The ride was closed to the public indefinitely, until it could be repaired, and later reopened. Many stories went by about The Monster, the one talked about the most is that the woods used to build the structure were cursed and that the spirits of the dead passengers on that train are now doomed to ride the roller coaster forever. Legend has it that every night at midnight, the screams of the dead riders can be heard coming from the sky , as a ghostly train shadow can be seen passing by on top of the tracks...

The Hidden Meaning

The album is a metaphor for life, the chaos, the relentlessness, the absurdity. Each song represents the stages and emotions a human goes through. In the story, the caracter is about to embark on the roller coaster, which will take him through all of these stages and emotions. First, he encounters the sign, welcoming him to the ride, he experiences fear as he does not know what to be ready for, his fear of death makes his imagination run wild. The caracter then builds up the courage to finally face his fears, and finally embarks on the roller coaster, and feels how intense the ride actually is. After the ride ends, he comes back to his senses and wonders if he would go again. Similar to the journey of the roller coaster, a human has to go through these stages of life, and each song goes through them.
